How did you two meet?
We met at a band rehearsal in Atlanta, GA when Ryan tried out to be my guitar player for an upcoming tour. Ryan was 20 & I was 17. He had a major fro (and blue eyes) that I couldn’t resist!
Describe your proposal:
We were celebrating our 4 year anniversary at the beach and I had a feeling that he was planning something. The whole day goes by, nothing. We go to a nice dinner, nothing. The night was almost over, and honestly, I was kind of bummed out. Then, he asked if I wanted to take a walk on the beach…jackpot! I, of course, said, “sure.” The beach was pretty dark except for one spot of light shining from another condo. He took that opportunity to get down on one knee & asked me to be his wife! Through my uncontrollable giggling, I said, “yep!”
What was your favorite memory from your proposal?
My favorite memory of that night was seeing Ryan’s eyes fill with tears after I accepted his proposal.
What do you love most about each other?
This might sound cheesy, but I find something new to love about him everyday. He keeps me on my toes. I’ll go ahead and answer for him (I am the wife, after all, hehe) and say that he adores my “Roseanne Cackle.”
What have you learned over your years of marriage?
We’ll be celebrating 3 years of marriage this September and we’ve been together for a total of 8 years. Over the years, we’ve both learned a whole new meaning of patience, understanding, and trust. I married Ryan because I love him and I know he loves me, and once you get married and have to deal with real life situations together, a whole new bond is created that isn’t even describable…
