Submissions

Beloved Darling accepts submissions from photographers and couples who have photos they want to share. We accept submissions for Engagements, Family Sessions, Vow Renewals, Anniversary Sessions/Parties, Older Couples that have lasted the test of time and elderly portraits. Please read the full submission guidelines below before submitting your photos.  

Unfortunately we DO NOT accept wedding submissions

To be considered for our publication, send your photography submissions to mybeloveddarling[at]gmail.com via a free file-sharing service such as dropboxhightail (formally yousendit), or WeTransfer. We are now accepting submissions through Two Bright Lights as well! If you have a blog post, you can send us a link to the feature first to see if it’s a fit. If you are not the photographer of the session or event, please obtain permission from the photographer prior to submission. Make sure to name your submission with in this format: Your-Photography-Name_Submission-Type

Submission Guidelines

Engagement Sessions

  • A minimum of 30-60 images with no watermarks or borders
  • All images should be low resolution (72 dpi) and 600 pixels in width
  • A list of vendors and any special notes about the photo shoot. 
    ie. the name of the couple, the location, venue etc.
  • Please include a link to your website/photographers website
  • Have the couple answer these questions:
    1. How did you two meet? Tell us your story.
    2. Describe the proposal.
    3. What was your favorite memory from your proposal?
    4. What do you love most about each other?

Vow Renewals

  • A minimum of 50-180 images including detail shots, portraits, ceremony and reception with no watermarks or borders
  • All images should be low resolution (72 dpi) and 600 pixels in width
  • A list of vendors and any special notes about the photo shoot. 
    ie. the name of the couple, the location, venue etc.
  • Please include a link to your website/photographers website
  • Please include how long the couple has been together
  • Have the couple answer these questions:
    1. What have you learned over your years of marriage?
    2. What do you love most about eachother?
    3. What advice do you have for others who are planning their vow renewal?
    4. What was your most memorable moment about your vow renewal?

Anniversary Session/Party 

  • A minimum of 30-180 images with no watermarks or borders
  • All images should be low resolution (72 dpi) and 600 pixels in width
  • A list of vendors and any special notes about the photo shoot. 
    ie. the name of the couple, the location, venue etc.
  • Please include a link to your website/photographers website
  • Include how long the couple has been together
  • Have the couple answer these questions:
    1. How did you two meet? Tell us your story.
    2. What do you love most about eachother?
    3. What have you learned in your years of marriage?

Lasting Love Sessions & Elderly Portraits

  • A minimum of 30-60 images with no watermarks or borders
  • All images should be low resolution (72 dpi) and 600 pixels in width
  • A list of vendors and any special notes about the photo shoot. 
    ie. the name of the couple, the location, venue etc.
  • Include how long the couple has been together
  • Please include a link to your website/photographers website
  • Have the couple answer these questions:
    1. How did you two meet? Tell us your story.
    2. Whats the secret to a long lasting marriage?
    3. What is your favorite memory together?
    4. What do you love most about each other?

Family Sessions

  • A minimum of 30-60 images with no watermarks or borders
  • All images should be low resolution (72 dpi) and 600 pixels in width
  • A list of vendors and any special notes about the photo shoot. 
    ie. the name of the family, the location, venue etc.
  • Please include a link to your website/photographers website
  • Have the family answer at least 3 of these questions:
    1. What’s your best family memory?
    2. What’s your favorite thing to do as a family?
    3. What is your favorite family tradition?
    4. What’s the best thing about your family?
    5. What do you think makes a happy family?
    6. What three words best describe your family?
