We asked:

How did you two meet? tell us your story.

Andy and I met on eHarmony in June 2011. We had both been looking for a relationship with a little more depth and found that eHarmony would be a good thing to try. We instantly clicked and decided only a month and a half into dating to be exclusive. The best part about meeting each other on eHarmony was that we felt like we already knew each other. We had so much in common!!

Describe the proposal.

Andy and I love taking road trips. He planned one in May to Charleston, SC. I had NO idea he was planning to ask me to marry him! The first night we were there, he took me on a walk after dinner to the water by Rainbow Row. After we sat on the dock for a little bit listening to the waves, he grabbed my hand and walked me closer to the garden near by. (He was scared he would drop the ring through the cracks in the dock so he walked me to solid ground! Haha). I turned around to look at him because he let go of my hand and he was on his knee!!! He said the sweetest words to me and told me he loved me very much! Then said my whole dang name!! And asked me to be his wife! (Can you tell I get excited telling this story, haha)

What was your favorite memory from your proposal?

My favorite memory of the proposal was that Andy incorporated something we love to do together, which is to road trip to new places we’ve never been. Also, he proposed the first night so we could enjoy a 4 day getaway just the two of us before we went back to “reality”. It was VERY romantic!

What do you love most about each other?

What I love most about Andy is that I feel like he knows me. And when I say that, I mean REALLY knows me. He can tell by expressions on my face what I’m thinking or things I will say before I even say it. It’s nice knowing I can just be me, and he loves me just for that. I know that sounds cliche, but it’s a great feeling. Andy says he loves most about me that I make him laugh!! I have a pretty goofy personality and try to make the best of every situation. We laugh together a lot!!!
