So we were cruising the internet one day when we were all of a sudden swept away by this romantic texan engagement session from Kayla Barker of Spink Studio. How beautiful is it?! Love it and we just had to share it. What a great way to end the week. Enjoy!

We asked them:

How did you two meet? Tell us your story.

Dylan and I have gone to the same church since I was three years old. We decided to date when we were in Junior High and that lasted all of two weeks. We decided to date again when we were fifteen years old, when I asked him on a date to a high school banquet. Dylan asked me to be his girlfriend about a month after that at a street dance on May 17, 2008. We have been together ever since.

Describe the proposal

The proposal happened at the Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos when we were on vacation with his family. Dylan arranged for a private dinner on the beach. Our own personal waiter picked us up from our suite at the resort, and gave me a rose. The waiter then escorted us to dinner, where a cute little table for two under a tiki hut on the beach awaited us. I had been waiting for Dylan to propose for a while since we had been dating for five years, but I was not really expecting the proposal to be on this night. We ate our meal, and then we were just sitting there talking, and enjoying it all… Then he grabbed my hand so we could go down to the beach. This is when i knew the proposal was finally going to happen, so i got really excited! Then he gets down on one knee and says “The moment we’ve all been waiting for… Will you marry me?”. I of course said YES!

What was your favorite memory of the proposal?

My favorite memory was after he asked we sat back down and he told me about much my Dad approved of him. It was enough to bring tears to my eyes, and that will be a moment I will never forget.

There is not one person in this world that I could love more than Dylan.

God truly put Dylan on this earth for me to love him, and him to love me. We get each other like no one else, and i can not wait to spend the rest of our happy life together making many more great memories.
